Dr. Georgios Mavromatidis is a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of Building Physics at ETH Zurich and is also affiliated with the Laboratory for Urban Energy Systems at Empa Duebendorf. He holds a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He also holds an MSc degree in “Sustainable Energy Futures” from Imperial College London, for which he won the “Best overall student performance” award by Imperial College’s Energy Futures Lab. He earned his PhD in the “Design of Distributed Urban Energy Systems under Uncertainty”call_made from ETH Zurich in 2017.
